Petta, all are well known the story - A hostel warden becomes the target of a dreaded politician and his gangster son, but little do they realise that it is they who should fear him. This film is more a Rajini film and less of a Karthik Subbaraj film.  The film gives the Thalaivar, all love - in loads, Rajinikanth has fun playing the role, and shows why he is the Superstar. Petta is filled with lines that make it clear for everyone that the Superstar is still - the only one. I got this film in DVD with interactive menu for playback of movie and songs, there is no option for dts audio, it is less discomfort while watching, but dolby digital with 5.1 gives full entertainment effect for whole movie. As usual, this DVD with 480p, SD video, nice to watch and hear the sound especially “Marana Mass”. There are five main songs, music by Anirudh Ravichander.
